EDIT: I managed to mess up the posting schedule for this page not once but twice! Apologies for the delayed update, y'all. I swear to God this only happens on pages I really care about lol.

Proof that I'm a fake Jekyll and Hyde fan: I completely forgot about the song In His Eyes until readers brought it up in the comments. To be fair I uhhhhhhhh tended to skip that song whenever I listened to the musical. It takes a lot to get me interested in a hetero romantic subplot, and neither Lucy nor Emma's stories are my cup of tea (as may be evident from the way I reimagined Lucy in this story). 

This version of events skips over the story of how Jekyll and Lanyon first met. We will see that at a later date!
