OMG :'). Three day weekends are the worst. At least, they are when work schedules don't adjust to accommodate and you end up trying to squeeze five days of work into four days. Add on top of that a new set of job duties I'm still adjusting to and a couple unexpected trips to LAX, and this week has truly become brutal. Mailing out pre-order gifts has been a fairly grounding exercise through all of this--a repetitive, fairly mindless task I can carry out while listening to a podcast or two. Incidentally, if anyone has any audiobooks/podcast/video essays to recommend, send them my way! I'm going through a lot right now.
