I started watching Midnight Mass recently (no spoilers please! I'm only on episode 4!) and so far, Father Paul is serving a lot of Jekyll vibes. He's got everything: late night dramatic confessions to nobody, a personality that vacillates wildly between quiet empathy, borderline manic charm, and catatonic terror, and a well-intentioned but extremely ill-advised plan to help his community by drinking things he probably shouldn't. Also he looks very good in a cassock, major gender envy there, made me have the thought, "Are trans mascs allowed to become priests?" Between this and Paul Atreides, I just really want a slick black outfit with a standing collar. (A lot of good Pauls lately.)
