This is the third of a five-page update! I'll be making brief page-specific commentary on each page, with the weekly blog post on the final page!

This page was not originally in my thumbnails for this chapter--I had fully roughed and inked out the previous page when, around 11:30pm (which, if I'm unlucky, is when I finish pages nowadays) I knew in my bones that I needed a massive single-panel splash image to kick off the Exhibition. I remember working on this page with a mix of determination and grim resignation.

I also remember just adding more and more flying stuff to make this composition as stuffed and busy as possible. This is why I'm a board artist, not a designer--my entire design philosophy boils down to, "When in doubt, add more little floaty stuff."
